FedEx posted its fourth quarter results for 2012, and the company had a net income of $550 million. Their revenue was $11 billion. The company retired some of its older planes, and FedEx will expand its ground transport fleet since customers are choosing cheaper shipping options. FedEx Freight made a recovery, and FedEx Ground continued to be the company’s top performing unit.
